If you have been procrastinating, time is running out to register for the 4th Quarter Summit of The Failure Institute. There are only a handful of seats left for this Friday’s Summit at Bitwise Solutions from 8:00 am to 9:30.
When you join us, here are three things to expect. First, if you have experienced failure, you will fit right in because you’ll be joining students, professionals, retirees, and others in a warm, friendly atmosphere where it is safe to be vulnerable in sharing your own experiences with failure and how you grew through them. Second, you will hear two engaging failure stories – one from a young entrepreneur with a big vision and another from an actor who shared with me today that he is off to his fourth audition in three weeks. And finally, you can expect to learn from others as we break into small groups to begin applying the lessons from our presenters.
Here is a preview of our Summit. Our first failure lesson comes from Anurag Garg, the Founder and CEO of Dattus, the winner of this year’s Mira Award for Best New Tech Product.
Rob Deas is our second presenter and will be providing an interactive experiential lesson about failure. Rob will also be facilitating our small group practical exercise. “Multi-vocational” is a great term to describe Rob. As an actor, his lengthy resume includes 30+ commercials, 50+ industrial films and corporate projects, comedy improv, and quite a few supporting roles in movies, including a few coming up. As a musician, Rob is both a producer and a film score composer, having a 12-year concert pianist background.
I look forward to seeing you this Friday.
